Website Design & Internet Consultants
In 2010, after returning from Iraq, I bought a simple candle kit for one of the big hobby stores in the hopes of saving money from the big-name candle companies. Not that I’m against the big companies, I was just on a tighter budget. I took the kit home and made my first candle. It was a disaster. It looked and smelled terrible. But I found the detail and patience of making it to be very relaxing. So, I began to study how to make better candles. This led to a small business and I felt I needed a website to expand sales.
This was not my first attempt at a website. I had created a few at this point for various reasons, but this was the first time I really put everything into it. I found it to be just as enjoyable as making candles. I enjoy that it gives me a creative outlet that I may not otherwise have. As I continued to learn more about web design and internet marketing, I began creating bigger sites for myself and friends. Eventually, this all led to me striking out on my own and creating FarsideDev. I really love what I do and it is a great feeling to be able to create a great web experience for others.
