We are a husband-and-wife small family-owned business. We serve Authentic Hawaiian Shave Ice with Aloha vibes.
In March 2020 we moved to Oahu, Hi to pursue our dream of living on the Island. We researched and studied local Hawaii Shave Ice shops on Oahu, Maui, Kauai & Big Island and eventually bought an old 1995 step van and built it out for a Shave Ice Truck. We learned the technique of making Shave Ice, discovered tropical flavors that Hawaii is known for and found out what true Local Style Hawaiian Shave Ice is. Which is a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom, with sweetened condensed milk drizzled over the top. So Ono (delicious). We immediately hit the ground running and started serving Shave Ice on the beaches and local North Shore areas. Having the ocean and beach for a view at work was nothing less than amazing. After making a name for ourselves, we actually were part of an Amazon Prime movie series, on set for 2 days as a carnival vendor with our truck. We eventually signed a 2yr contract with the U.S. Army base on Oahu to serve the entire community. As we emersed ourselves with the Hawaiian culture and living our lives as local residents learning what true Aloha is, surfing, hiking, types of food, Ohana (family), we found out that we were expecting our first child. We had to make decision and decided to move back here to the DFW area to be closer to our families with our newborn son. We sold the business and is still up and running on Oahu (The Shoreline Truck).
Once we moved back here to Grapevine, we felt that the community needed to know how good Hawaiian Shave Ice really is. We lived it, so we know it. So, we started ALOHA DREAMERS SHAVE ICE. We are not your typical crunchy ice snow cones, in fact, we are absolutely not a snow cone. Once you have tried us, you will immediately understand why. We take pride in our Customer Service, (the Aloha way), and our product (Quality). We are a mobile trailer that serves all of DFW for birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, school events, corporate events, community festivals, and as of March 2024, we now also have a brick-n-mortar at the Chicken N Pickle Grapevine complex.
We look forward to serving every customer, at any event to share our passion of true Hawaiian Shave Ice and the knowledge that comes along with living Aloha.
