Catering Customer Service Representative

We are seeking experienced catering food service professionals to join our Aspen Catering team. With over 28 years of service in the Dallas Fort Worth area, we are looking for a enthusiastic Catering Customer Service Representative to assist with answering phones and entering catering orders along with some light food preparation when needed (Example - box lunches, dessert trays, fruit and vegetable trays. No cooking will be necessary) .  As a member of our team, the following abilities and qualifications are required:

  • Ability to work both set and varied schedules, which may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., stand, reach, stoop, push, pull, bend, and work in a variety of environments (cool, warm, dry, etc.) for extended periods.
  • Obtain a certified Food Handlers permit as required by the City.
  • Previous order entry and familiarization with computer software is plus.
  • Previous experience in catering production and/or delivery is preferred.
Duties
  • Answer incoming phone calls or emails, create orders and quotes for clients to review when needed.
  • Prepare food, beverages, equipment, and supplies for catering order when needed, as directed by the General Manager.
  • Consistently follow and maintain safety and sanitation procedures and perform all preparation duties as required.
  • Assemble and verify catering orders for accuracy, stage them appropriately before delivery.
  • Be a team player and assist where needed
