Women of Distinction - Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains

The Girl Scouts annual Women of Distinction program brings together and recognizes a group of purpose-driven, women leaders in business, government and philanthropy; who, like our girls, are dedicated to service and leadership
The 2014 Women of Distinction are:
- Discover Award: Amy Yudiski, public relations/community relations manager at Shale Exploration. The recipient of this award demonstrates exceptional understanding of herself and her values, and using this knowledge in every way possible to help girls and women explore and discover themselves and their world.
- Connect Award: Deborah Ferguson, NBC 5 Today anchor. The recipient of this award demonstrates exceptional leadership in connecting with others to create solutions in our community and beyond to make the world a better place.
- Take Action Award: Dr. Gleniece Robinson, Fort Worth Library director. The recipient of this award serves our communities and advances the quality of life and opportunities vital to the development and support of women leadership.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Libby Watson, community volunteer and long-time advocate and supporter of Girl Scouts. The recipient of this award is an individual that has dedicated her life to serving in the interest and support of women leadership.
