You are cordially invited to attend the Christmas Cottage Open House on Wednesday, November 30th, at 815 S. Main Street in Grapevine. This is an ideal holiday event for your family, church, civic group or business to attend. Christmas Cottage is a GRACE program that provides new, unwrapped gifts to families facing financial hardship due to limited income or recent emergency. Each qualified family is given a hypothetical “budget” that allows the parents to “purchase” donated toys, home goods and appliances in a private, store-like setting. This unique approach allows families to budget their resources and select unique presents while preserving the family’s dignity. Over 2,700 individuals and families are served each holiday season. Our mission at GRACE is that the warmth and comfort of the Christmas Cottage will allow families facing hardship to experience cherished Christmas traditions, while continuing a legacy of giving for your family, community group or business. The volunteers, donors and corporate partners that make Christmas Cottage special for so many each year is a testimony to our wonderful GRACE family. The hundreds of service hours, thousands of unwrapped gifts and countless batches of cookies make a profound impact on families in need of hope. Thanks to the generosity of the City of Grapevine and sponsor Park Place Lexus in Grapevine, GRACE is able to utilize the same Christmas Cottage site for its third consecutive year at 815 S. Main Street, at the corner of Main and Dallas in Grapevine. Gifts can be dropped off at Donation Station, 112 N Scribner Street, or GRACE Main, 610 Shady Brook Drive, both in Grapevine. The Christmas Cottage Program will be open from December 8th-22nd.
