Police motorcycle units are steeped in tradition and are well known to be great riders. Texas police motorcycle units are a whole different breed. We understand that we proudly wear the Great State of Texas on our uniform and want to bring respect to that every day. Motorcycle rodeos are a great way to honor these traditions. They provide opportunities for training under pressure (i.e. clock, spectators, and fellow riders), opportunities to meet citizens on a not so official capacity, and opportunities to fellowship with each other.
