Bria Bickerstaff Memorial Golf Tournament
Texas Chisholm Trail Crime Prevention Association (TCTCPA) will host its first annual golf tournament on May 14, 2012 at Texas Star Golf Course for the purpose of helping distressed families in need. TCTCPA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization committed to reducing crime and promoting a safer environment through coordinated and concentrated efforts for the citizens we serve.
TCTCPA’s first beneficiary will be the family of Bria Bickerstaff. On February 18, 2012, Bria Bickerstaff lost her courageous battle with breast cancer after battling for almost a year. Bria fought this disease head first and never backed down from the fight. She had an almost unimaginable strength and passion that was an inspiration to all that met her. Bria is the daughter-in-law of Nathan Bickerstaff, Red Oak Police Officer and Texas Chisholm Trail Crime Prevention Treasurer. Bria is survived by her husband David Bickerstaff (Transport Officer for Ellis County SO) and three children ages 1, 3 and 14.
