AMP'T - Advancing Modern Professionals for Tomorrow

The next session of AMP’T – Advancing Modern Professionals for Tomorrow – will be February 24, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Winewood in Grapevine. Advanced registration is required due to limited seating.

The guest speaker will be Grapevine City Councilman and recent Ted Willhoite Legacy Award Winner, C. Shane Wilbanks. He will be sharing from his extensive experience in the human resources industry prior to his time on City Council.

AMP’T is designed for Chamber members age 21-39 seeking to advance their career by learning from senior executives. More than just a meet and greet, attend and receive applicable advice from a senior executive willing to share their experience and answer questions.

If you have someone in your business or organization who falls in this age range, the Chamber encourages you to send them to receive real-world advice to enhance their career.

At each AMP’T session, the senior executive will discuss:

• Their career path

• What they looks for in the younger generation when hiring/promoting

• Ways to advance a career

There will also be time for Q&A at the end of the session. The event is free to attend. The only cost is your lunch.
