DESCRIPTION:About\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne held one of the first in-person job fairs since the COVID-19 pandemic at the Irving Convention Center. Many people were offered jobs on the spot\, and even more had interviews scheduled in the following days. Due to high demand we chose to make it an annual event\, hosting our second job fair in 2023 before outgrowing the convention center and moving to Globe Life Field in 2024.\n\nLast year\, we brought together over 500 businesses\, 25\,000 people\, and 32 constituent services groups to connect North Texans with life-changing opportunities and resources. Job opportunities included entry level to C-suite positions from a broad array of companies in healthcare\, manufacturing\, aviation\, energy\, law enforcement\, as well as openings to serve in government and nonprofit roles.\n\nWe are proud to have a bipartisan group of elected officials and community partners joining forces to invite individuals and businesses across Texas to participate in this year's North Texas Job Fair. Over the coming weeks\, you can check back daily for new employment opportunities and services information. We are thrilled to be hosting again at Globe Life Field\, home of the Texas Rangers\, on August 7th from 11am - 3pm.
