At an early age from what I'm told mike has always wanted to be a firefighter. Mike used to drag around his mom's vacuum cleaner pretending to put out fires. Mike has worked for or volunteered for numerous fight departments.\n\n\n\nHis first full time paid job was with the city of Round Rock with their fire department and is currently working for the fire department in Grapevine. Mike and I met in 2005 and married in 2006 and have 3 kids together. Recently mike was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic neuro endocrine carcinoma. This journey started on April 18\, 2014. Mike has always been a fighter and I know will fight this until the end.
