DESCRIPTION:DALLAS / FORT WORTH   Mark your calendar!  Make April 3rd a GREAT day by supporting the Metroport Meals On Wheels (MMOW) 26TH Annual Golf Classic at Trophy Club Country Club.   April 3rd\, offers historically pleasant golfing weather (compared to our previous mid- June date)\, and is quickly approaching\, so reserve your spots now!  \n\n \n\nThis year's tournament is presented by Allen Samuels\, and actor Burton Gilliam is our Honorary Chairman!\n\n \n\n"The MMOW golf tournament is an event that offers something for everyone.  For golfers it's a day on a great private course for a worthy cause with camaraderie\, contests\, delicious food\, auctions and entertainment\," said Tournament Co-Chair Robert Finn.   \n\n \n\nBoth courses will be open with 9am registration and an 11am shotgun start.  The day will conclude with happy hour\, dinner\, awards and team prizes.  Evening festivities will also include an exciting live auction and great live music. Proceeds from this event help fund the home-delivered meals and senior center programs provided by MMOW.  \n\n \n\nAbout Metroport Meals On Wheels   Metroport Meals On Wheels (MMOW)\, founded in 1980\, is a grassroots organization that serves as an advocate for elderly or chronically ill individuals in northeast Tarrant\, southern Denton\, and eastern Wise counties. MMOW has provided over a million meals to seniors in northeast Tarrant\, Wise\, and Denton Counties since 1980 and serves meals to more than 1\,000 seniors at 11 area senior centers.
