The Around the Block Clothing Program is an annual event hosted by Kids Matter International. The children\, who are referred from local schools\, community agencies\, and orphanages\, receive a $100 voucher to spend on new clothing. With discounts and no tax\, each $100 will equate to well over $225 - $250 in merchandise. Through our long standing partnership with KOHLS department stores\, 16\,425 children have been provided new clothing valued at over $2\,790\,000 over the past several years. In addition\, Twisted X Inc. is donating high-quality shoes for each child\, an in-kind value of over $100\,000.\n\n\n\n"Helping children in need is the core mission of Kids Matter International." said Marti Conner\, president. "For the majority of the children\, it is the first time they will shop for new clothes versus receiving hand-me-downs. We hold the events during November to insure that the kids have warm clothing before Winter arrives."
