ABOUT GRAPEVINE
Transportation
Getting to and around Grapevine is simple because of the city’s numerous transportation options.
DFW Airport remains one of the largest and busiest hubs, directing flights to and from all over the world. As a part of Grapevine, DFW connects the city to almost any national or international destination.
Reaching Grapevine is easy on the ground, too, as seven major highways and interstates wind through the city. Highways 121, 161, and I-635 all connect Grapevine to the DFW area, while Interstate 35 lies just a few miles east.
Another transportation option will come to Grapevine in 2013: the Southwest to Northeast Commuter Rail. Running from southwest Fort Worth to DFW Airport, the rail will see more than 15,000 trips per day and run right through Main Street.
Once in Grapevine, visitors can choose to use the Visitor Shuttle to venture around the city. The shuttle runs constantly, hitting major entertainment areas like the Grapevine Mills Mall and major hotels in Grapevine throughout the day.
