A program of the City of Grapevine and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Grapevine offers an educational experience designed to develop an awareness of the city, its relationship with the DFW Metroplex and to provide personal leadership training. At the conclusion of the program, participants are better prepared, to seek leadership roles, both within their business and community.
Participation in the class is limited to 25 individuals. Leadership Grapevine participants are selected through an application and selection process, with the purpose of this process to assure a mix of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences that represent a cross section of the city.

The band formed at Bronco’s Sports Bar in 1997, where they still perform every Thursday night, and over the past fifteen years they have continued to blur the line between “cover” and “original”, creating a niche for themselves. About the Program:
Ryan “Birdman” Parrott, Founder, President & CEO served eight years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, attached to Team SEVEN, completing three combat tours to Iraq. In 2005, Ryan was riding atop a Humvee manning the turret gun in enemy territory, when his vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED), causing a flash fire and throwing him from the vehicle. Ryan regained composure with his face and arms on fire, and witnessed his fellow team members suffer devastating burn and blast injuries.
After completing his service, Ryan moved to Dallas. Meeting other Veterans in the area, some of whom suffered serious burn injuries, Ryan became discouraged that Veteran Burn Survivors were not benefiting from advancements in the area of burns in the same way that amputees benefit from incredible advancements in prosthetics.
Searching for better answers, Ryan realized that traumatic burns significantly impact not only the military community, but fire fighters, first responders and civilians as well. Feeling called to help, Ryan established Sons of the Flag.
Sons of the Flag, a nonprofit organization, founded in 2012, is vigilantly committed to supporting military, first responder, and civilian burn survivors by providing funding for innovative research, Fellowships for doctors to further their training in treating burn survivors, educational opportunities, and support for those impacted by a traumatic burn. To that end, Sons of the Flag brings together passionate community leaders, pioneering physicians, experienced military service members, dedicated first responders and purposeful civilians to complete the mission.
To date, Sons of the Flag has funded Medical Fellowships at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston and UT Southwestern in Dallas, supported Burn Units and the staff who work there all over the country, financially supported Pediatric Burn Camps all over the country, established a Fire-‐Fighter led National Task Force, and funded many individual Burn Survivor requests for help. |

 The Walton Stout Band is sought after by some of the best venues and event planners in the country. They have played at the Hard Rock Casino and other top venues in the USA. Most of their musicians have worked with national acts like Aretha Franklin the Supremes, George Clinton and others. They are a full on party dance band!

 Zack King and his band have been performing their unique brand of Texas Rock across the U.S. for almost 10 years. In that time they have played with some of the most illustrious superstars in rock and country music. They kicked off their career opening for legendary singer/songwriter Leon Russell and have since performed with the likes of Bon Jovi, Alabama, Stone Temple Pilots and more more. Their varied, eclectic, Texas sound has crossed markets and found the band appealing to many generations of fans across the U.S.
Justin Mason
 Justin Mason is from Grapevine, Texas and is a true country musician. He grew up listening to all of the greats, and he brings that sound to his music today.
